Vahan Kassabian, MD, FACS, FRCS (C)

Dr. Kassabian is the Chief Physician Officer of Advanced Urology Institute of Georgia (Atlanta) and is also the Director of Advanced Therapeutics.
He earned his medical degree from University of Montreal, Quebec, and then completed his urologic residency at the University of Montreal. He completed further training as a research fellow in urologic oncology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas; there he served as clinical instructor of urologic oncology before transitioning to assistant professor of surgery at Emory University. He also served as Chief of Urology at the VA Hospital in Atlanta. Voted one of Atlanta Magazine’s Top Doctors in 2018, he has extensive experience in clinical research, numerous national and international presentations, publications and book chapters, mostly related to cancer and prostate disease.
