LUGPA peers gathered in Washington, DC for the LUGPA 2023 Regional Program, “Amplifying our Voice: LUGPA Advocacy in Action.” This unique program featured important topics in health policy, including financial toxicity and pillars of reform. Participants received insights from leading experts about the legislative background and the issues that faced the 118th Congress, as well as LUGPA’s Regulatory Reform Initiatives for 2023. They also learned best practices for communicating important healthcare initiatives with local, state, and federal leaders.

Senator Bill Cassidy was the dinner keynote speaker. A physician himself, he has shown to be passionate about health care issues and a powerful supporter of physicians and patients.
