LUGPA Contacts ABU Seeking Recertification Relief During Crisis

Dear LUGPA Members,

We have heard from many of our member physicians about their concern over ABU recertification during this time of crisis. I wanted to let you know that on behalf of LUGPA, I have contacted the American Board of Urology to ask for consideration in this regard.

The Board understands the situation faced by its diplomates, and they are meeting to discuss remedies during this difficult time. I have been informed that a notice will come from the ABU in the coming days that will address the process. Information will also be posted to the ABU website at www.abu.org as it becomes available.

We continue to provide advocacy efforts on behalf of our member groups and their physicians to preserve and advance the independent practice of urology.
